Mickie Grist was born and raised in Greenville, SC. She has been passionate about skin care since a young age and has now dedicated her life to helping others achieve optimal skin balance using ayurvedic techniques.

Mickie has a traditional bachelor’s degree in business from the USC Columbia. Shortly thereafter, she attended the Naral Gourmet Institute of Food and Health in NYC where she studied nutrition and vegan, wheat free, and sugar free gourmet cuisine. She furthered her culinary education, specializing in living foods, at the Living Light Culinary Institute in Nappa Valley, California. Mickie trained as a health minister through the Hallelujah Acres Back to the Garden Health Ministries program in Shelby, NC. She holds an abundance of information about converting to a healthier lifestyle.

However, Mickie’s most recent degree is from the Aveda Institute Chicago, where her talent as a make-up artist won her a full paid scholarship to study ayurvedic skin care and make-up artistry.

Currently, Mickie is here with Creative Health and ready to address all of your skin care concerns to bring that “healthy glow” back to your skin. Mickie will be using Naturopathica Spa products, a high quality herbal skincare line based in New York. Naturopathica products are also used at The Sanctuary's.
